I grew up in the Old Town district of Kraków, Poland. Sice I was a kid, I was surrounded by art, antiquities, and crafts. I got my first chisel scar when I was 12. My great grandfather was a master carpenter during times of the Austro-Hungarian empire. My grandfather was a machinist, carpenter and an all-around craftsman - I learned all my best shop practices from him. My father is an interior designer and it is from him that I got an obsession with the right look of things. As a kid, I remember wanting my dad to have an Eames Lounge Chair so I can sometimes sit in it.
Between 1998 and 2004, I was studying philosophy on Jagiellonian University working in my family's sign making and graphic design agency. In 2006 during a trip to the West Coast, I fell in love and decided to stay in California, where I became a carpenter and furniture designer. this year I got my Bachelor degree in design from Cal State Long Beach University.
I am currently living in Los Angeles with my wife, daughter and a wolf-dog.

I specialize in designing and building of furniture. Either high-end single pieces or prototypes for further production. from the first ideation sketches and paper models, all the way to finished product. I work in "traditional" carpentry as well as CNC machining. I work in hardwood but I am also an expert in veneer laying.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, backpacking, and backcountry snowboarding on my self-cut split board.
