Gregor
lounge chair

A pack flat chair out of rift oak and oak ply. Frame is made out of four elements interconnected with each other through 3 lap joints. Miter joints are reinforced with sliding tenons, which are pinned with brass pins. It makes for a rather heavy but near indestructible frame. I made my own 3/8" ply for the seat and back - it is elastic and offset from the seat on rubber spacers which makes for a really comfortable seat.
The entire thing can be assembled with an allen wrench and a screwdriver.

9 fasteners and 6 pieces
The chair looks vaguely bug-like so I named it Gregor. If you know what is the connection, high five! That college education is paying off :)
